Cleaning assembly incorporates a burner which has an alternately loading regenerative heat exchanger placed before a separator to intercept suspended oil droplets, that the separator assembly consists of a slub sieve, an E-filter and a viscous-impingement type air filter. A viscous impingement type air filter may be used in the presence of substantial quantities of oil. USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly cleans air contg. hydrocarbon droplets such as occur in plastics processing and exploits the advantages endowed by the alternately loaded regenerative heat exchanger.
