Safety arrangement in the coal-charging closure system of pressure-type gas generators that operate on brown-coal briquettes with or without mixing them with raw lignite. The closure system has a bunker shut-off slide plate, closure head and coal sluice; the closure head is inerted by continuous flushing with safety gas. The sliding plate of the bunker shut-off slide-valve is arranged between an upper sealing ring and a lower support ring. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement ensures safe charging of fuel, without interruption, into pressure-type static gasifiers. The bunker is partially inerted, and gas from the closure system is prevented from entering it.
