The invention concerns a process for producing a hollow-cast full-flush water closet with a water trap having a tongue, the mould for which has a rear-wall core and at least one mould element for producing the tongue. The mould is filled with slip and, when a body has formed on the walls of the mould, the excess slip is drained out of the mould. The invention enables the WC to be produced in one stage, without the need for any pre-treatment or post-treatment. To this end, two separate core elements (14, 15) which together have the shape of the tongue (13) are detachably fastened in place on the rear-wall core (16) during preparation of the mould and, following formation of the body and removal of the rear-wall core, are drawn one after the other out of the cavity (19) thus formed in the tongue (13).
