Electronic multiplier circuit performing N-times serial multiplicand addition - has special numeral input circuit for clocking multiplicand and multiplier into respective shift registers
An electronic multiplier circuit produces the product by n-times serial addition of the multiplicands. The intermediate product sums are shifted w.r.t. the multiplicands as required. At the third clock of one pulse counter another pulse counter is driven by an up pulse. At the second clock of the first pulse counter a potential storage flip-flop is set. At the last clock of the first pulse counter the outputs are supplied with a high pulse provided the circuit output changes from high to low potential at the third pulse counter clock. ADVANTAGE - Circuit is improved by addition of special numeral input circuit (50).
