Process of initiating a chemical reaction between reactive components to produce a product with a low dielectric loss index and loss angle. The reactive mixt. comprises either a mixt. of reactive components with high dielectric loss angle or a mixture of these components with a matrix. The mixt. is subjected to a high or ultra-high frequency field which heats the mixture and initiates a reaction between the components. When the reaction ends heating ceases due to the low HF or UHF absorption of the reacted product. USE/ADVANTAGE - The process is used to mfr. products based on an isocyanate e.g, MDI and water crosslinking system and considerably shortens mfg. tim
