The device is for generation of a suction pressure by a moved air volume. An air flow is giuded over aerodynamic surfaces, and accelerated, which causes the static pressure to drop. The suction pressure occuring on the aerodynamic surfaces, is passed through slot-like openings, to be used at a distant point to generate mechanical energy. In the area of the openings, the suction pressure is increased, by one or more smaller aerodynamically curved surfaces, which are located above each other.
