Spectrally divided light occurring in the image plane of the spectrograph is fed into the elongated bundle of light conductors which is divided into several parts (1-20) arranged to form a rectangular cross-section and connected to a CCD camera or to a CCD camera with an image amplifier in front of it. A quantum converter is preferably provided for conversion of UV or VUV light entering the surface of the optical fibre bundle into visible light. ADVANTAGE - Large wavelength range, high spectral resolution.
