A process of fixing a plastic sealing membrane, preferably laminated with a cushioned layer, in secured or unsecured tunnels, mining galleries or underground chambers, involves a compressed air plant wiht flexible hoses to inflate the membrane. When attached to the tunnel wall the membrane conforms with the tunnel profile. The hoses are in rings and set in reveals, and are fastened by hangers to either the inner or outer side of the membrane. USE/ADVANTAGE - The membrane is easily fixed and cannot be damaged.
