Corrugated sheet metal lining segments (2) for underground galleries are laid against the face transversely to the direction of the gallery. The sheets (2) are joined together with flexible couplings (6) and the void between the sheets and the face is backfilled with structural building material. A weather door (5) fixed in a frame (4) comprising an outer and an inner part fixed together with flexible elements (6) is fitted across the gallery in recesses in the lining (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - The weather door is fitted as tightly as possible to prevent leakages, and the flexible joints allow for fluctuating pressures.
