The crimpable electric connector element (10") is for use in a crimping device (20). The connector (10") has at least one guide projection (10c', 10c") for sliding engagement with at least one guide track (11c'). The guide track runs perpendicular to the axis (A) of the connector element and is arranged in a space (21a) for cooperation with the crimping part (20a) of the tool (20). The projections (10c', 10c") can be identical for connector elements of different sizes. The guide projections are kept within the degree of tolerance (N) of the connector in question. USE/ADVANTAGE - Connector elements of different sizes can be connected in same space, e.g. in handle of crimper and conveyed as required to crimping part.
