A method of cultvating mistletoe in horticulture or similar trades involves the use of hydroculture baths containing the sap of the host plant. Sprigs of freshly cut mistletoe are placed with the cut end in the host sap and allowed to grow. A mixture of the saps of different plants are used in the baths, and can be the sap of plants on which mistletoe would not naturally grow. The baths are placed in a forcing house.
