The coils (16) are arranged star-shaped. The coil axes (16a) run parallel to the rotor axis (1a). The shaft seal and/or the bearing mounting (32) are integrated in the magnetic bearing. The opposite facing sections (2a, 2b) carrying the lamination packets (2, 13) of the rotor (1) and the stator (8) are designed as shaft seals. A residual space (15a) between the coils (16) and the rotor (1) accepts the bearing mounting (32). A labyrinth bush (17) can be arranged in the residual space (15a) between the coils and the rotor which, together with the rotor, forms a shaft seal. ADVANTAGE - Only requires small space for fitting. Allows selective fitting.
