A transparent, colourless epoxy resin compsn. suitable for high vacuum uses comprises: (A) 100 mol.% bisphenol A diglycidyl ether; (B) 20-30 mol.% 1-phenoxypropane-2,3-diol; and (c) 1 mol.% Mg perchlorate. USE/ADVANTAGE - The use of the compsn. in the prodn. of high vacuum adhesive and casting resins is claimed. The compsn. has good high vacuum stability on account of there being no undesired by-prods. during prodn., all of the components being incorporated into the crosslinked structure. The Mg perchlorate acts as a latent catalyst so that the compsn. can be stored for long periods before further processed at ca. 110 deg.C and the hardened prod. shows good flexibil
