Moulding appliance for chipboard and fibreboard parts - has single vacuum tray transporter for panel blanks and finished product

The appliance is for manufacture of moulded parts from prefabricated panels of chipboard, woodfibre, etc, in which the binding agent has mainly hardened. It consists of a feeder device, to feed a panel into a heated moulding press with lower stationary mould half, and upper moveable press half. It also has an ejector device for a finished part. The feeder device and the ejector, are both formed by a single vacuum tray transporter (10), which moves into and out of the heated press on one side only. The feeder has suction cups (11) to hold the panel to be moulded, and a tray (14) to support the finished part. The upper mould half (25) has bores (26), connected to an underpressure source.
