The control data result in the swivelling of the facing pair of running wheels (4) in the same direction of rotation about the vertical axis. The running wheels are suspended so that they are individually controllable and are connected to respective adjusting drives (7) for track guidance. Self-generated control information taken from the pairs of running wheels are supplied to the adjusting drives as well as a control line (8) reacting on these adjusting drives. The pairs of running wheels are controlled accordingly.
