The fitting is for door- and window-leaves, particularly of the hinging and tilting type. At the top horizontal edge of the leaf is an extension bar for position adjustment, extending from a pivot bearing on the frame. Two parts of it are interchanged to allow use of the fitting (B) to left or right. A universal joint is formed between the frame and adjusting ends of the part, and is freed from a non-rotating position by movement of the adjusting end. The universal joint (D) is formed by tilting the joint pin (13) bearing against one component (I) of the fitting in its bearing bore (14) (14) in the other component (II).
