Direct conversion of fluid flow into electrical energy - using permanent magnets to reverse spin precession, thus inducing voltage in toroidal windings

A ceramic tube through which water flows is surrounded by a series of toroidal windings, separated by the poles of a set of permanent magnets. The magnet polarities alternate down the length of the tube and the windings are connected in series. The magnetic field causes the spin procession of the water to reverse and this induces a voltage in the windings, which can be utilised. ADVANTAGE - None of corrosion problems associated with "conventional" MHD generators.
