The clutch for speed-change gears has a shift finger (14) on a central gear-shift lever shaft (10) and engaging with movable shift-rails (30,32,34,26). The shift-finger has catches formed by recesses in conjunction with spring-mounted stops. A guide (26) for gear-changing is formed of grooved recesses acting as a gear-changing gate with a transverse idle track. The two guides are positioned on the outer periphery of a hollow, control cylinder (12) formed of an outer casing and an inner hub joined by one or more bridge-pieces. The flanks of the groove-shaped recess has a variably steep gradient for gear-selection. ADVANTAGE - The clutch provides precise gear-changing, especially for vehicles.
