Stereo headphones with adjustable frequency response - use directional pattern of outer ear and post equalises response of headphone sound transducers by rotation of transducer positions

The stereo headphone set has two capsules (1) adapted to fit into the outer ear. In each capsule (1) a sound transducer (2) is arranged off centre to ensure front perceived location of audible events. The sound transducer (2) in each capsule (1) is rotatable about an axis which extends perpendicularly to the outline of the outer ear or to a parallel principal surface of the capsule (1). The sound tarnsducers (2) are arranged to rotate clockwise and anticlockwise. The rotational movement starts from an average downwardly and forwardly displaced position and is proportionally counter rotational. Thus the forward or downward displacement distances are reduced or increased. ADVANTAGE - Produces equalises as well as balanced stereophonic audible events. Especially for ferquencies above, provides optimal location of audible events.
