Locking positioner device for palettes - has U=shaped positioner with guide unit, and palette guide journals in positioner side tops

The device is for use with palettes, which are transported on a conveyor mounted on supports. A U-shaped positioner device (2) consists of a horizontal base (5), with vertical sides (6,7), to accommodate the conveyor (3). The guide unit (4) is fastened to the conveyor in its longitudinal direction, for movable support in longitudinal direction of the positioner device. A drive arrangement (26) moves the positioner along the guide unit. Each vertical side has two journals (11,12) located at a relative distance near the top edge. These are displaceable at right angles to the direction of transportation, and can be inserted into corresponding openings on the long side of a palette (P). ADVANTAGE - Simple installation at any point of conveyor.
