Air filtration cells (7) in a suspended ceiling (10) are supplied from air lines (1) via flexible couplings (1.1), vol. flow regulators (2) and distributors (3) contg. wedge-shaped inserts (3.3). Pressure-boosting air speed measurement probes (1.2) are installed in the inlets (2.1) to the regulators (2). A constriction alongside or immediately upstream from each probe (1.2) may counteract the redn. in flow when a filtration cell (7) is disconnected by means of a shutter flap (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. in clean rooms for integrated circuit prodn., repositioning and disconnection of individual zones is possible with easily installed or retrofitted and operated arrangement.
