An enclosed channel section in which cables (6) and tube (7) runs may be made is formed from two main parts, namely, a base (1) and a cover (2). The cover has the general shape of a pitched roof section and locates over a girder (5) suspended within a building. The sides of the cover have profiled channels (10) to fit onto the base and provide a sealing action. The base rigidity is enhanced by cross members (9) located on hangers. Holes in the base (4) receive dowels for securing dividing walls (3). ADVANTAGE - Limited wt. Separate channels for tubes or cables. Ease of construction.
