A protective device to prevent cutting down or damaging young spruce, oak or beech trees when mowing, consists of a stirrup fitted around the perimeter of a rotary mower. The stirrup prevents rotary blades coming into contact with young trees when trimming grass or weeds in and around the trees in a plantation. USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be fitted to any rotary mower or string-line trimmer.
