The system has thick layers of spawn or fleece (10) through which roots can pass. It is filled with a humus-free substrate (11) and is covered with a lava or sand filled penetrable fleece (12) mat. The top open contour is enclosed in a net-type shroud (13). The penetrable fleece (12) has seeds and may be planted with shore and/or river bank vegetation. The substrate consists of a granulated mineral of low apparent weight, and contains intermediate layers of textile materials. The holw system has steel cables or steel mats, for anchoring. USE - To protect river/shore from erosion.
