Arrangement for the cleaning of hot-gas filters by pulsed gas reverse blowing, where the filter element consists of temp. resistant web or ceramic bodies. The temp. of the pulse gas is raised above the dew point of the condensable gas, or condensable component thereof and thus condensation and consequent gumming-up of the filter surface with dust and condensate are avoided. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved filter performance and extended the, particularly for high temperature (above 1200 deg.) waste-incinerator gases whose removal of fire dusts is difficult, and residual dust nuclei may possibly promote formation of dioxines in the after cooling sections of the flue, etc..
