Computer-aided testing and measuring of video component signals - using simulation, response storage, analysis and indication for analogue and digital video components

Dependent on the type of video device and the mode of use, e.g. testing, fault finding, there are made the signal paths via microcomputer inputs. The source signals are stored for signal receiving, transmitting and processing devices and read out with the video clock, fed to the device. After processing of these signals and their transmission by the object under test, or receipt of signals from an object under test which is itself a source, these signals are stored as sink signals. The sink signals are read out at microcomputer rate for digital processing, and the microcomputer gives an indication, or provides a graphic analogue output. USE - Universally usable tester for analog or digital video component signals, e.g. for use in television studio.
