The simulator (5) with driving seat (1), steering wheel and opeating levers is linked to a computer (15) with a video monitor (6). The seat (1) is pivotable about all three sides (4) of an isosceles triangle on a horizontal platform (2). Tilting is accomplished by three jacks (3) acting on the squab (18) which rests on three feet (7) in sockets (8). The system produces visual and corporeal sensations of rolling during fast cornering, and pitching when the form of an overloaded lift truck is raised. ADVANTAGE - Seat movements are simulated very realistically by compact, lightwt. and inexpensive device.
