The DC elimination circuit for a regulated AC drive evaluatess the stator currents (is1, is2, is3) to determine the unwanted DC signals (deltaisalpha, beta), with corresponding auxiliary stator-orientated setting voltage components provided via regulators (38,40). The setting voltagee components are added to the stator-orientated setting votlage component values supplied to the current regulator (4), which supplies the AC drive motor (2).
