The golf bag trolley comprises a 2-wheeled folding chassis with a self supporting housing (2) acting as the golf bag into which the golf clubs are fitted. The wheels (12,13) are rotated via respective battery operated drive motors (24,25) acting directly on the wheel axle (11), with the battery supported above the wheels (12,13) at the base of the self supporting housing (2) and recharged via a charging cable. Pref. each drive motor (24,25) lies at right angles to the wheel axle (11), supported by a mounting arm (10). ADVANTAGE - Allows simple maintenance and repair of electric motors.e
