Wood fibre material for a soil conditioner has a coating of paraffins, waxes or resins. Pref. the paraffin or resin is solid at room temp. The coating is extruded and comprises 0.5-3 wt.% of the dry mass. The wood fibre contains upto 40 vol.% bark.
