The horizontal heat insulating dividing wall beneath the cold compartment contains apertures (5) for the circulation of cold air. The refrigerator beneath the wall is divided into a warm part and a cold part (3) by a vertical insulating wall with a hole. Pipes conducting cold medium and a connection between the warm and cold parts pass through the hole (5) in the vertical wall. This hole (5) is divided into several apertures, and is open at the front edge in the direction of the refrigerator door. When this door is open the complete refrigerator can be withdrawn.
