Extracting certain data concerning astronomical times, e.g. sunrise and sun-set - storing data of interest previously calculated with precision in ROM of radio time receiver and correlating with associated data

The clock receiver belonging to a radio time system includes a special memory pref. a ROM or PROM storing certain data concerning the heavens for each day of the year, e.g. times for sun rise and sun set. The pulse train representing the received date is converted so that it corresponds to the associated address of the memory. The certain data belonging to the date are read out and displayed. The receiver can be battery powered and switched to receive for short periods separated by long gaps in which it operates autonomously at a low power consumption level. When the data changes, the corresp. new data are called from the memory and displayed. ADVANTAGE - Smaller, lower power consumption data of interest is precalculated at higher accuracy. Requires no microprocessor.
