Perorally applicable aq. soln. of metoclopramide (I) salts comprises conventional taste-corrects, a (I) salt as the sole preservative, and opt. other pharmaceutical auxiliaries. The (I) salt is the hydrochloride and this component makes up 0.4-2 (esp.0.8-1.5) wt.% of the soln.. The taste-corrector (flavouring agent) is a sweetener. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) is antiemetic agent, used to treat nausea, vomiting and for regulation of gastrointestinal motility. Prior art compsns. contg. (I) also contained preservatives such as fungicides, which sometimes cause allergic reactions. Aq. solns. of (I) have activity against microbiological impurities so that the need for fungicidal additives is removed
