Conductive paste using graphite interlaminar cpd. with improved moisture resistance - uses lead chloride combined with more reactive metal chloride as additive, used for mfg. thick film resistors and conductors
The conductive paste consists of an organic binder in which is dispersed a graphite interlaminar cpd. which includes at least PbCl2 as a conductive material. USE/ADVANTAGE - The use of PbCl2, together with another, reactive metal chloride, reduces significantly the resistance increase as a result of exposure to a high temp. and high humidity environment. The resulting increase can be made similar to or less than that of graphite material, while the addition of the guest material decreases the resistivity of the material effectively. The material is used as a filler for paste in the mfr. of thick film resistors and conductors.
