The second pressure sensor (5) determining the body internal pressure of the patient is connected to an evaluation unit (10) reducing the determined sphincter pressure measuremrnt value to a value, that is a function of the body internal pressure at the time the measurement value was taken. The second pressure sensor is arranged in-front of the first pressure sensor (4) in the insertion direction of the measurement probe. With the measurement probe (2) inserted in the anal duct of a patient, the second pressure sensor is placed in the intestine end region and the first pressure sensor in the anal duct. USE/ADVANTAGE - Gives exact determination of anal sphincter pressure of patient even if contraction of sphincter muscle is superimposed by contraction of other muscles or muscle groups.
