The drive for the spools is in the form of a motor (45) that has a pulley (47) with a belt coupling to pulley with an integral pinion gear (36). Located between the pinion and a pair of gears (2, 3) coupled to the spools is a transmission. This has an intermediate gear (37) with a pivot mounted linkage (38) that carries a drive gear (40). The linkage can be moved in either direction to produce engagement with the spool gears.
