The sealing fillets (22) are inserted in grooves (24), whereby the lower area near to the groove base (25) is filled with a pliable pulp (26). This pulp is applied at least in the grooves of the housing blades (13). The fillets are so formed in their dimensions that they sit tightly in the grooves, i.e. with no clearance in a radial direction, and only movable under pressure in an axial direction. The height available for location of the pulp (16) is derived from the mfg. tolerances of the sealing fillets (22), and is between approximately 1/50 and 1/5 of the groove height (H). Dependent upon the consistency of the pulp (26), larger dimensions are also possible for the height and the gap dim. (S). The pulp used is a highly viscous grease, a permanently plastic or permanently elastic sealing plaste or a hardenable material out of a range of adhesive material. ADVANTAGE - With a displacement loader, the axial seal between the displacer and the housing being simplified, partic. as far as mfg. tolerances are concerned.
