The coupling has a fixed coupling sleeve (4) with inner moving sleeves which enable a coupling end (2) to be inserted and connected. The coupling end is secured by radial grips (52) and is sealed by integral seals. The inner sliding sleeves in the fixed mounting are arranged to operate with controlled spring pressure. No great manual force is required to open the connection and the manual effort does not have to overcome the inherrent hydraulic force. ADVANTAGE - Simple to operate coupling, minimum manual effort required.
