The invention relates to a device intended for the teaching and/or perfecting of the handling of a nautical craft, reproducing all the movements which characterise it in its free motion, which can be fitted to any known simulator for operating with or without a stretch of water, of the type including means for providing rolling M1 and pitching M2 movements, a rotation about a vertical axis M3, a means allowing forward/aft translational movement M4, and conversely, interacting with a return means M5, a means providing a diving-type movement M6 for a simulator operating with a stretch of water, the nautical craft having a sail being able to be set into motion by a natural wind or by a simulated wind using a blower controlled by electrical regulation means arranged on the means acting in translational movement M4.
