The present invention relates to a device for fastening (binding) a skier's front boot and rear boot on a snowboard (1), of the type in which these boots are, respectively, held on the snowboard by a front binding (2) and a rear binding (6), these two bindings being connected by linking means (50). This binding is characterised in that one of the two bindings (2, 6) is a master binding (2) and the other binding is a slave binding (6), it being impossible for the slave binding (6) to be released except when the master binding (2) is itself released.
