The reservoirs are constructed by assembling panels (1, 2) which are prefabricated in the factory by means of a suitable high-flow rate machine, each including a reinforcement (3) of round bars arranged in a trellis pattern and extending beyond the lower and upper edges in order to constitute protruding reinforcements (4) and cramps (staples) (5) permitting the anchoring of the said panels on the foundation (floor, bed) (15) and their association with the bars of the anchorages (19, 22) securing the panels. According to the method, a base (15) of concrete is prepared, intended for receiving the panels (1, 2) which are juxtaposed upright via their large sides, the said panels are anchored via their bottom in the base and they are retained side by side by means of clips (16) and the panels are secured by pouring joints into the grooves (6) hollowing out their lateral edges and by moulding the anchorages.
