Installation for destroying liquid products packaged inside glass containers and the recovery in a selective manner of the various materials of which such packagings are composed. It includes, mounted on a stationary support frame, above a recovery zone: - a drum (2) which rotates about a horizontal axis (3), of great diameter, open at least partially on one of its lateral faces (5), the surface of which includes a multitude of orifices (6) and the inner face of which is equipped with elements permitting the entrainment in rotation of the products (10) (packages and bottles) introduced inside the said drum (2); - means (11) making it possible automatically to convey the bottles and the packages inside the said drum (2); - at least one blower (14) producing a current of air through the rotary drum (2), substantially parallel to its axis of rotation (3) and in the direction of its open face (5).
