New thioesters, a process for their preparation and their use in the synthesis of aminomercaptoalkylamides

New thioesters corresponding to the following general formula: IMAGE in which: A represents the -(CH2)n- divalent radical, n being an integer between 2 and 5, or the -(CH2)2-O-(CH2)2- divalent radical, m is 0 or an integer between 1 and 4, (i) when m is 0, R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl radical, an ethyl radical, an isopropyl radical, an isobutyl radical, a 2-methylbutyl radical, a benzyl radical, a 4-aminobutyl radical, a 3-guanidinopropyl radical, a 2-(methylthio)ethyl radical, a carboxymethyl radical or a 2-carboxyethyl radical, (ii) when m is an integer from 1 to 4, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl radical having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and X is Cl or Br, with the exclusion of the compounds in which: (i) A represents -(CH2)2-, m is 0 or 1 and R1 represents a hydrogen atom, (ii) A represents -(CH2)2-, m is 0 and R1 represents a methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, isobutyl, methylthioethyl or benzyl radical. These compounds constitute intermediates in the synthesis of aminomercaptoalkylamides.
