The engine (1) includes a recirculation pipe (7, 8) connected, at one of its ends, to a means (2) for recovering the exhaust gases from the engine, and, at its other end, to a means (3) for taking fresh gases into the engine. A recirculation valve (10) is interposed on the pipe (7, 8) and operated in terms of opening and closing by a partial vacuum source (20) connected to the recirculation valve (10) via a solenoid valve (21).
