PURPOSE:To allow light to sufficiently reach the scalp even if it is covered with hair, by irradiating the scalp with the light transmitted through a photoconductive cable. CONSTITUTION:A treatment jig 5 consists of a large number of conical projections 7 erected on the other surface of a base stand 6 and a large number of optical fiber 9 arranged in the base stand 6. The visible light transmitted through a photoconductive cable 1 is transmitted to the light irradiation treatment jig 5 to be introduced into the optical fibers 9 and emitted from the leading end parts 9a, 9b of the optical fibers. Especially, the light emitted from the leading end part 9a is further introduced into a projection part 8 and emitted from the leading end part of the projection part 8 while reflected from the surface thereof. Since light is emitted from the leading end of the projection part, when light is allowed to irradiate the scalp, the leading end of the projection part is directly applied to the scalp, light can be effectively allowed to irradiate the scalp without being interfered with hair.
