QUALITY INSPECTION OF CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE:To check the quality of a concrete construction such as insitu pile and underground wall, by providing spaces for inserting a radiation irradiating source and a radiation film within the concrete construction separately. CONSTITUTION:A drilling is performed protecting a borehole wall (a) using bentnite mud or the like and upon the end of drilling at a specified depth, a reinforcing cage (b) is inserted and then, concrete is casted through a tremie tube (d) or the like to build a insitu pile 1. The pile 1 is drilled from the top to make insert spaces 3 for a film F and a radiation source 2. After the film F and the radiation source 2 is lowered to a specified depth of the holes, a radiation is projected to the film F. The condition of concretes between two insert spaces 3 is presented on the film f thereby enabling checking for the quality of the pile.
