PURPOSE: To provide cam plate type drive mechanism highly reliable in uniform speed performance with little vibration and noise while being desirable in assemblage, and provide an axial piston pump device and a reduction gear using this drive mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: When an input shaft 4 is rotated, a cam plate 6 is also rotated, so that a driven plate 18 is rotated while oscillating with inclination α to an output shaft 11. This torque is transmitted to drive pins 26 and further transmitted through compression springs 25 so as to drive the output shaft 11 in the decelerating state. At this time, the inclination, to the output shaft 11, of a cam plate inner surface ring part 6a with which the protruding part 26b of the drive pin 26 comes in contact is α/2, so that power transmission points, that is, the spherical head part centers 26a of two drive pins 26, always exist on a plane bisecting the inclination α. Torque transmission between the input shaft 4 and output shaft 11 is thereby performed at uniform speed.
