TRANSMISSION LINE BUFFER QUANTITY CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: To make the constitution of a buffer quantity control system clear concerning the buffer quantity control system of transmission data in a local area network. ;CONSTITUTION: In order to control a reception buffer 15 storing/reading reception packet data, the system is provided with a buffer quantity control part 16 having a latch part holding sequence information of a primary reception packet, an adding part adding buffer quantity setting information to primary sequence information and a comparing part comparing the adding value and sequence information of the adding part. The fluctuation of reception buffer delay caused by the omission of the packet, etc., at a transmission line is avoided by using the output of the latch part as a primary address to the reception buffer 15 and using the output of comparing part for a reading starting timing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
