PURPOSE:To achieve labor saving and a higher safety margin and a higher measuring accuracy, by purifying a cylinder, a piston and a die in a series operation through a conveying mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A conveying section is made up of a slide rail 8, a stepping motor 9 for moving electric furnace and the like arranged horizontally, and a piston purifying section, a piston part comprising a piston 27 or the like, a purifying mechanism 18 and the like. A cylinder purifying section is made up of a pad, a cylinder purifying mechanism 52 and the like and a die purifying section, a die purifying rod holder 95, a guide pipe 104 and the like. On the other hand, an electric furnace 1 is moved sequentially to sample filling, flow testing, cylinder purifying and die purifying positions. After the end of a flow test, the piston purifying section purifies the outer surface of the piston 27 taken off a cylinder at a flow testing position, and the cylinder purifying section the inner surface of the cylinder conveyed with the conveying section. Furthermore, the die purifying section purifies the inner surface of a die following the purification of the cylinder conveyed by the conveying section with the inner surface fixed on the cylinder.
