PURPOSE:To simplify a device exhausting a glass tube end reduce the cost by providing a rotary valve having a pair of independent exhausting through holes connected to two exhaust holes of an exhaust head at two positions nearby at different distances from the rotation center. CONSTITUTION:When a pair of an outside through hole (c) and an inside through hole (d) are moved to the exhaust position by the intermittent rotation of a turn table 10 and a rotary valve 13, a pair of the through holes (c), (d) coincide with a pair of an outside vacuum hole (e) and an inside vacuum hole (f) of a stationary valve 14, the through holes (c), (d) are vacuumed, thereby the first and second exhaust holes 12a, 12b of the first and second heads 11a, 11b of an exhaust head 11 located at the exhaust position are vacuumed via pipes 22, 22', and two exhaust pipes 6, 7 in a glass tube 1 are exhausted. Accordingly, a manufacturing device simple and inexpensive facility-wise can be obtained.
